CCNP is the certification having the curriculum designed to help the students learning about the networking devices, controlling and troubleshooting them. It includes the routing, switching and other networking skills. It is an advance level course for the students which already have strong concepts for computer networking and are done with CCNA Discovery and CCNA Exploration. It further supports the career of a networking related person to an advance level because it trains the people completely with respect to planning, implementing, controlling, securing and troubleshooting all kinds of networks. The CCNP curriculum covers each and everything related to the networks and provide the student the expertise in networking.
The CCNP curriculum is based on three courses,
- · CCNP Route: Implementing IP routing
- · CCNP Switch: Implementing IP Switching
- · CCNP Shoot: Maintaining and troubleshooting networks
CCNP Route: Implementing IP Routing:
It covers the lessons about setting up large LAN and WAN and their routing solutions. It further deals with the routing configurations and settings to setup a secure and reliable network. There are thirteen lab exercises in the CCNP routing course which are necessary for the student to attend to learn practically that how the routing of the networks can be done.
CCNP Switch: Implementing IP Switching:
Using Cisco architecture of networks the students are taught to deal with complex switching problems and issues for large networks. It includes managing the switching devices, with access and security implementations and permissions on VLANs and WLANs with voice and video integration.
CCNP Shoot: Maintaining and troubleshooting networks:
It is all about the troubleshooting, controlling and managing large and complex networks which are routed and switched. It develops the skills to troubleshoot the networks using advance technology based techniques in a best possible approach. It further includes nine lab exercises which are quite necessary for the student in the development and practical exposure to the troubleshooting of advance networks.
